MDW 2018: Cassina redefines the home through living spaces
Fifty years after its opening, Cassina’s Milan showroom has been expanded. The project was designed by Patricia Urquiola: a new chapter in the brand’s history, together with works by Mario Bellini, Vico Magistretti, Clino Trini Castelli, Achille Castiglioni, Giancarlo Tintori and Piero Lissoni who, since 1968, have interpreted and promoted the ideal space to highlight the quality of Cassina products. A new interior design experiment brings the spaces to life by building new workspaces for architects that are directly connected to the showroom by a sculptural staircase that leads to the first floor, passing through a dome, the heart of the place. The interiors are characterized by materials traditional spaces that offer a contemporary vision of the space with the retail model developed for Cassina stores around the world.
Ahead of its time, in defining new meanings and expressions, the brand reaffirms its identity. During Milan Design Week , this is the backdrop for the new Cassina Collection. Check out the videos with the main products launched during the event.
