The Brazilian Furniture Sector Project — an initiative by ABIMÓVEL (Brazilian Furniture Industry Association) and ApexBrasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) — is taking several Brazilian companies to Milan to showcase the best in terms of raw materials, techniques, quality, technology, sustainability and design integrated into the national furniture industry at the 61st Salone del Mobile Milano , the largest event dedicated to the sector in the world, which takes place from April 18 to 23 .

Embracing the theme of inclusion, a series of changes have been announced – both in the structure of the Salone and in the biennial lighting exhibition, Euroluce . One of the highlights is that for the first time, the stands will be arranged on a single level , that is, only on the ground floor. Therefore, there will be no exhibitors in the upper pavilions of the fair, which should facilitate access and circulation for visitors.

Exploring different “worlds”, as the parallel events are called by the iSaloni organizers, in addition to the traditional Salone del Mobile exhibition and the return of Euroluce, the program also includes the International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition , Workplace3.0 , S.Project , and SaloneSatellite . “There is something for everyone, bringing together more than 1,960 exhibitors, around 550 young talents under 35 and 27 design schools from all over the world!” highlights the fair’s president, Maria Porro. Cândida Cervieri , executive director of ABIMÓVEL, emphasizes the importance of the Brazilian industry being present at the event: "This is a very important opportunity to showcase the creative, productive, technological and innovative potential of the Brazilian furniture industry and design to the world. We are excited and working purposefully to promote our brands and strengthen ties with the global market at the event , which is the largest showcase for the sector in the world. Together with ApexBrasil and our associates, we expect another great exhibition, with a lot of knowledge exchange and good business."
