Those looking for a quiet place to enjoy Carnival in their own way, away from the street parties and crowds, can rest assured, as there is no shortage of
fun options to celebrate the holiday away from the festivities. If you live in São Paulo and don't plan on traveling (or if you're just passing through the metropolis), you should know that the city is full of
unmissable activities to enjoy the holiday . Below, we've selected 5 options, check them out!
Francisca's House
Casa de Francisca is a restaurant that combines
Brazilian food, music and beautiful, energetic decor . Located inside the Palacete Tereza Toledo Lara, the establishment is a prestigious home for art and carnival, as evidenced by its special program, which will feature
a costume ball on February 17th and 18th. To check out musical events,
visit the website (where you can also purchase tickets in advance).
Matarazzo City
At the end of last year,
Cidade Matarazzo , one of the most sophisticated complexes in the city, had a series of openings with a six-star hotel, the
Rosewood São Paulo . The good news is that even those who are not staying there will be able to count on
options of bars and restaurants to enjoy the holiday: Le Jardin, Blaise, Taraz and Rabo di Galo .
The Garden (Divulgação/CASACOR/CASACOR)
Le Jardin has
rustic décor , leather armchairs and lots of wood in its decor. Located right in the center of the hotel, there you can enjoy great
drinks and enjoy delicious modern cuisine.
Brasserie Blaise (Leo Martins/Veja SP/CASACOR)
Rooster's Tail On the left is
Rabo di Galo , a much more modern and artistic atmosphere, with a highlight being a painting on the ceiling by the artist
Cabelo . The decor also features musical instruments such as
tambourines, cavaquinhos and tambourines hanging between the tables . For those who enjoy live music, be aware, as jazz performances are more than frequent there!
Taraz Restaurant
Taraz Restaurant, one of the options in the Cidade Matarazzo Complex,
offers South American cuisine. Located in front of the century-old olive trees brought from Uruguay, the restaurant offers options to share with a menu created by chef @FelipeBronze .
Augusta Park
(Guilherme Pereira/CASACOR)
Opened at the end of 2021,
Parque Augusta is a project by the City of São Paulo that offers a generous
23 thousand square meters for visitors to stroll through one of the city's most popular neighborhoods. It is a true "breath of fresh air" in the midst of a
place famous for its bars, parties and restaurants . In addition to being very airy, many people go to Parque Augusta
to sunbathe, read a book or enjoy brunch with friends – who said you need to go to the beach to get a tan?
Lazy Park
A
pet-friendly and very São Paulo-style option,
Lazy Park is a cool environment, all with containers and beach chairs that
make anyone feel like they're on the coast , but still with a "metropolitan feel" thanks to its playful decor. The space is
very Instagrammable , with art on the wall, colorful chairs and the containers themselves which are super colorful – just like Carnival!
