Marked by a record number of entries from 60 countries, the 2021 edition of the international Red Dot Design Award , which recognizes the best products of the year , whether they are aesthetically attractive, functional, intelligent or innovative, awardedthe Horizonte Sideboard designed by Lia Siqueira - from the CASACOR cast - and the Olive Chair signed by designer Jader Almeida .

Inspired by rhythm, architectural reasoning and art , the Horizonte Sideboard by Lia Siqueira for ETEL - one of the main Brazilian design brands that values artisanal work and the use of precious raw materials - emerged from the union between rhythm and action. , a series of repetitions transformed into a harmonic and homogeneous structure.
The linear exercise modeled in triangles, made it possible to build invisible drawers , using sophisticated carpentry techniques. The feeling is that the sideboard floats on the horizon.

The Olive Chair designed by Jader Almeida reaffirms its individuality with its sophisticated and elegantgeometry , created from an unusual set of supports made of cast metal, in a harmonious composition of materials such as wood and leather . The upholstered seat and backrest of the piece summarize the height of comfort .
