Karolinna Venturi - Hall of the House. This space in the mansion is reminiscent of architects of the past, when they themselves developed the pieces for their projects, since options were scarce. The architect was inspired by haute couture when designing the space, where everything is custom-made and each creation is unique. With art as the protagonist, the composition is marked by an explosion of colors and a mix of materials. The pieces designed especially for the project are the highlights, such as: the ceiling structure with Murano glass, a lamp made by a ceramist, a sideboard piece with a work by a local artist, a bookcase found in an antique shop and a bench covered in rugs.

Taking part in CASACOR for the fourth time, Venturi highlights her collaborations with renowned artists such as Cristina Odebrecht and Paolo Ridolfi . “We wanted to create a space that would delight those who appreciate art and design, valuing the unique beauty of handcrafted pieces,” explains the architect.

Sustainability is a strong point of the project, reflected in the choice of materials and the creative reuse of old furniture. “Using antique pieces and recycling furniture reaffirms my commitment to the environment,” he says. Each piece was chosen to enhance the visual experience of the space. The Murano Balls , suspended from the ceiling, bring brightness and playfulness , while the Upholstered Bench , made with Killim rugs, combines artisanal tradition and contemporary design. The Entryway Sideboard , transformed into a work of art by Paolo Ridolfi , adds historical depth to the space.

The Napoleon Burgundy marble floor connects all the elements of the project with its striking colors. The ceramic lamp by Cristina Odebrecht , with its historical and artistic value, symbolizes the union between design and art . The Bookseller , with a South African scowl, brings an ancestral cultural dimension to the space.
The inspiration for the project came from Karolinna’s travels to Milan , where she kept up to date with the latest trends. “I wanted to bring a unique concept, combining art, trends, crafts and exclusive materials,” she says.
