Janelas CASACOR was an innovative adaptation of the traditional format of the show, which managed to maintain the tradition and prestige of the event, while respecting the restrictions imposed by social distancing due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead of being held in a single space, Janelas CASACOR was distributed across different points in the city of São Paulo . Twenty-five spaces were selected in iconic locations in the capital of São Paulo, such as Paulista Avenue, Vila Madalena and the Jardins neighborhood. Each of these spaces was designed and decorated by renowned architecture and interior design professionals , who gave their interpretation of the theme proposed for the event. This proposal invited professionals to explore the essence and originality of living, resulting in environments with varied proposals , from minimalist and functional spaces to conceptual and experimental creations. The event was a successful experience , which allowed visitors to appreciate the talent and creativity of professionals in the field even in the midst of the pandemic, maintaining excellence and providing a unique opportunity to learn about different perspectives on living and contemporary architecture . In addition, the event also had a positive social impact in some areas of the city. For example, one of the event's containers was installed in Cidade Tiradentes , where the Sukha Studio is now located, hosting workshops on manual techniques, podcasts and music videos, photo shoots and exhibitions. Another container, located in Jardim Colombo , acts as an Ecopoint for collecting materials for recycling in collaboration with the Coletando Project. In Brasilândia, the container was transformed into a Healthy Food Community Kitchen , where gastronomic workshops and cooking courses are held. In Vila Andrade, the container donated to the NGO AMIS (Morumbi Association for Social Integration) has become a very popular library among the 630 children served by the organization. These are just a few examples of the positive transformations promoted by Janelas CASACOR , showing that the event not only provided moments of inspiration and beauty, but also had a relevant social impact in different communities in the city of São Paulo.
