IRIS+: The new artificial intelligence of the Museum of Tomorrow

The Museum of Tomorrow, opened in 2015, has become a landmark in Brazilian tourism, receiving more than 1.1 million people in 2017 alone. To celebrate its two years of existence, the museum will take another step towards future with IRIS+ , an artificial intelligence project developed with IBM Watson, which will welcome visitors from Friday, the 15th.

The aim of IRIS+ is to stimulate social awareness, as well as ecological responsibility and the individual role in the future through questions. At the beginning of the tour, each visitor will receive a card from the virtual assistant that will record the person's data and act as a key to the interactive experiences of the Main Exhibition. At the end of the route, IRIS gains a voice and speaks directly to the public. “For us, tomorrow is today and today is the place for action. This call includes many proposals ranging from the sustainability of the planet the way we live together” explains Ricardo Piquet, CEO of the Museum.
