Located in the Vila Madalena neighborhood of São Paulo, this apartment was designed for a young German executive and his girlfriend. The project, designed by Patricia Martinez Arquitetura - part of CASACOR SP - combines European and Brazilian influences in the 190 m² space. With furniture designed by big names in Brazilian design, the space was designed based on a clear and solid material base and the integration of social areas , creating a feeling of spaciousness and lightness. The social area was designed to have all the spaces integrated. In the TV room , right at the entrance to the apartment, the mix of materials and textures is present. The sofa and cushions, in addition to being made of a fabric that is comfortable to the touch, create a contrast with the light palette chosen for the project. The custom carpentry, in addition to providing warmth to the space, was essential for dividing the spaces. The pillar that houses the television and personal belongings of the residents divides the social area from the private area. The entire hallway is covered with slatted panels, both on the walls and on the ceiling, mimicking the doors leading to the internal spaces. The bar area, located between the TV room and the living room, was designed especially for residents to relax with family and friends and consists of a table with a round cumaru wood top and a concrete base and four straw chairs, reminiscent of Brazilian craftsmanship. Leaning against the wall, a cart with a black steel frame acts as a support for drinks.

Connected to each other, the kitchen and dining room reinforce the language used throughout the apartment. The dining table, designed by Jacqueline Terpins , with its organic shape, becomes the focal point of the space. The master suite was designed as a space of peace and tranquility. The bed faces the large glass windows and, in addition to having a privileged view, receives plenty of natural light. For the headboard area, a piece of carpentry was chosen to divide the bedroom from the closet. Next to the bed, a reading space was created with a Pitu armchair and bench by Aristeu Pires , and a bookshelf for the residents' books and personal objects. Simple and elegant, the couple's bathroom follows the tones of the bedroom, covered in gray porcelain and with cabinets in light tones. The second bedroom, intended for guests, was created as a home office space with a sofa bed.
