Stay up to date with everything that will happen at CASACOR SP 2017

What is essential? The theme of CASACOR 2017 raises this question for its visitors and brings a focus on what really matters and makes a difference in people's lives. The answer to this question will be presented in each of the 71 environments that will make up the This year's show. Leading names from the architecture, design and landscaping scene bring the latest trends in this universe, related to good Brazilian living and attentive to sustainable and social issues. Among the team that will be part of the event are Alex Hanazaki, David Bastos, Marina Linhares, Leo Shehtman, Paola Ribeiro, René Fernandes, Yamagata Arquitetura, Triplex Arquitetura, Marlon Gama, Lidia Maciel and many other talents in the market. CASACOR São Paulo 2017 will once again take place at the Jockey Club of São Paulo, with its entrance changing this year to number 1075, in the club's former Special Tribune 2, unlike the last editions of the show. In total, there will be 16,000 m² that will house all the new features. of the event. Below we will list some of them so you can prepare for what is to come!

Chef's House

Casa do Chef will be a space entirely dedicated to gastronomy, which will bring chefs and guests for exclusive dinners, classes and workshops. The main function is to connect people with the world of food design . The project is designed by architect Yara Cianci, specialized in kitchen design.

Sustainable House

Repeating the dose, this year we will have a second edition of the SUSTAINABLE HOUSE project, designed with different construction systems and solutions that save natural resources, reduce pollution and respect the environment. With the mentorship of engineer Luiz Enrique, from Inovatech , the project will be signed by the young architect Mariana Crego.

The action is in line with CASACOR 's sustainability policy. It will also have the partnership of Eccaplan Consultoria em Sustentabilidade and Inovatech Engenharia, which will continue to support the awareness-raising work with training during the construction and sustainability policies. The goal is to increase the numbers of savings in resources generated at the exhibition. In 2016, 1,924 tons of waste were reused, around 90% of the total.

Design courses focusing on interiors

With the aim of immersing the public more and more in the world of architecture and interior design, CASACOR São Paulo , together with the European Institute of Design (IED), will offer courses with contemporary design content. Designed in accordance with the activities of the exhibition , the courses will present several modules related to innovation in interior design, consumer trends, lightning design and also, design applications with a focus on universality and accessibility. Archathon Challenge

With the aim of revealing new talents in the market, CASACOR São Paulo held the largest architecture and interior design marathon. Participants were challenged to create a project, judged by invited mentors. The Sopro team, formed by Alan Freita, Ana Dora and Breno Felisbino were the winners of the CASACOR Archathon and will design the Café do Saber at the São Paulo show.
