The largest construction event in Latin America,
FEICON opens its doors this Tuesday (11) with
more than a thousand brands , including 150 new companies, and
a 40% increase in the commercial area compared to last year. The numbers show that the 27th edition has everything to reach new records and surprise visitors. “We are looking to make FEICON even more complete, both in the exhibition area, with a 50% increase in the number of brands and in the availability of attractions to provide new experiences, and in the content spaces for training and professional development of visitors. There will be
more than 200 hours of simultaneous lectures that will cover all sectors of the construction industry,” says Mayra Nardy, portfolio director at RX, the company organizing the event.
The event covers
four macro sectors of civil construction : finishing, structures, installations and external; and promotes meetings between professionals, executives and MATCON associations, innovation developers, such as startups (construtechs and proptechs), politicians and specialists.
Exhibitors
The event will feature
the largest number of brands in this edition, all with their product portfolios and launches. In addition, it will announce the return of
20 companies that are market references to the pavilion. Among the names expected to return to FEICON is
Lorenzetti , which will bring to the event launches such as the new Acqua Century Digital shower that reduces water consumption and environmental impacts, with a maximum shower time of eight minutes. After seven years,
Astra will also return and will exhibit its entire product line, such as toilet seats, hydraulic lines and flush systems, which are market leaders, launches for bathtubs and SPAs. The return of the
Unitá Group , made up of 14 brands, will also be marked by launches aimed at the agribusiness and building sectors and materials from the welding lines, motor pumps (with new products in the spa and industrial lines), generators, pneumatic and painting tools, and the latest addition: electric tools. Sustainability route
FEICON also presents the
2023 Sustainability Route , with an increase in the number of participating products. The Route is an initiative by FEICON that aims to promote a
greater connection between manufacturers with ESG initiatives and the public that visits the event , made up of engineers, architects and construction professionals. There are three assessment axes: in “
Manufacturing ”, the focus is on manufacturers that have good socio-environmental responsibility practices in their manufacturing lines; in “
Construction ”, the products that contribute to a construction site with lower resource consumption, better working conditions and less waste are highlighted. In “
Applied Product ”, the focus is on the benefits of sustainability for the end user of the construction, including energy and water efficiency, recyclability, etc. The entire assessment process is carried out by
Inovatech Engenharia using the method endorsed by the
Vanzolini Foundation , the largest national certifier. This year, 19 products were registered for the Route. Examples of brands and solutions include:
Vonder , with descaling, degreasing, waterproofing and lubricant;
Metro Modular , with modular forms for concrete;
Protect Argamassas Especiais , with self-leveling mortar;
Saint Gobain , with Feltro Wallfelt and EME Indústria de EPS with EPS expanded polystyrene.
