In Goiás, architect designs space in homage to DJ Alok and his family

Meire Santos - Space for Alok and Romana. A veteran at CASACOR Goiás, Meire Santos created a Space for Alok and Romana, 130m², where the pleasure of family life was the main inspiration. With minimalism as a guide, but with strong references to the inspirations that permeate the work of the artist Alok, Meire brings nature, indigenous elements and Brazilianness to the project. One of the highlights is the DJ's soundboard: a giant anteater. On the walls there are indigenous objects, which refer to the theme of Alok's recent work. Photos of the DJ and his family complete the project, which has contemporary furniture, spot lighting and reclaimed marble flooring, emphasizing the sustainability sought in the project.(Edgard César/)
