July 7th is the day of the most beloved and delicious sweet in the world: chocolate! This date became known, in fact, for marking the arrival of chocolate on the European continent in the 15th century, because, before that, the product was only known by the Mayans and Aztecs. Nicknamed " black gold ", chocolate became synonymous with wealth and status for the aristocracy, becoming popular only after the Industrial Revolution .
