Bianca Barbato, Mel Kawahara, Pedro Petry, MoBu and Elisa Stecca come together to present renowned pieces and new releases during Paralela

Designers come together as a collective during the 33rd Paralela Design

With the aim of presenting the best of authorial design and the emerging work of professionals in the field, during the 33rd edition of Paralela Design , which took place between February 19th and 21st, at the Bienal Pavilion, in Ibirapuera Park (SP) , ColetivoD+ was created. In it, furniture and piece designers came together to present their already established works and exclusive launches for the fair. See below who participated in this union and some of the new products that were presented during the event!

Designer Mel Kawahara transforms simple white sheets into lamps that gain volume and three-dimensionality through folding. In addition to the aesthetic result, the pieces produce geometry through light and shadow. Some of the pieces presented at Paralela were the TOMIKO table lamp and the KIYOSHI.

Designer Pedro Petry transforms wood into unique objects and furniture that highlight the natural characteristics of the material with all its irregularities, veins and tones.

The line of sculptural objects and wall jewelry designed by Elisa Stecca are some of the highlights of the 33rd edition of Paralela Design. The professional presents the PAISAGEM collection at the fair, composed of glass, quartz, pyrite, citrine and black tourmaline.

Acrylic, wood, mirror, resin and tile are some of the materials that come to life in the hands of Bianca Barbato. With original designs in nostalgic and welcoming forms, her works have a refined and perfectionist aesthetic. For the fair, the designer prepared the Iscas and the Ring Vases. "The rings fit together and you can mix everything together," he explains.
