Decor Dia do Bem is an action that marks the work carried out by the
NGO Decor Social , which in the last five years has renovated 14 shelters and impacted
more than 4 thousand people , transforming the lives of children and teenagers through social design. In order to raise funds for the upcoming renovations, on Thursday, July 27,
anyone who purchases the CASACOR São Paulo yearbook at Livraria Paisagem – during the event itself (at Conjunto Nacional) or on the website livrariapaisagem.com.br/loja – will be directly contributing to the project . In addition, with CASACOR's support,
Coral , a decorative paint brand from AkzoNobel, will be offering an exclusive
happy hour for 150 guests, volunteer professionals from the projects, with a benefit concert by Amanda Maria and Leandro Cabral, supporters of the NGO.
“Celebrating our five years of foundation at
CASACOR , together with Tintas Coral, which has been coloring our shelters since the beginning, fills us with pride, as
our project was born from the inspiration of this event , and just like them, we also delivered the 'Dream House' to these children”, highlights
Katia Perrone , interior designer and president of Decor Social.
Juliana Zaponi , Communications and Color Manager at AkzoNobel Latam, also celebrates the longevity of this initiative and reinforces its importance. “Transforming the lives of children and adolescents through the environment in which they live, including the use of colors, undoubtedly plays a key role in the Decor Social projects, which we are so happy to participate in.
It is a way for us to welcome and inspire these young people ,” says the executive.
About Decor Social
Decor Social is a non-profit organization that will celebrate its fifth anniversary in 2023, specializing in architecture, interior design, and landscaping for children, adolescents, and young adults (up to 21 years old). It manages and executes renovation and decoration projects for living spaces or homes that promote the healthy development of children and adolescents in situations of social vulnerability. Understanding their challenges, needs, and desires is what drives them. Since 2018, it has completed 14 projects, which represents approximately 10% of all shelters in the capital of São Paulo, impacting the lives of more than 4,000 people. More than 5,000 m² were renovated and a total of 170 environments decorated, thanks to the support of more than 630 volunteers and approximately 300 partner companies.
