Deca's Cuba designed by Arthur Casas wins Best in Show Ceramics
Deca received the Best in Show Ceramics of Brazil Award at Expo Revestir 2019. The brand was the winner in the Ceramic Tableware category – sinks , with the piece created by architect Arthur Casas and launched at CASACOR São Paulo 2018. The sink developed by the professional features a modern design with straight lines. For its design, a unique white enamel with a grainy effect was created, imitating small pigmentations in the black finish.
The award aims to highlight national products with high added value. To elect the best lines in different categories, ANFACER (National Association of Manufacturers of Ceramics for Coatings, Sanitary Ware and Similar Products), an entity that represents the sector nationally and internationally, in partnership with Apex-Brasil (Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) was curated by journalist and design critic Marcelo Lima and a highly qualified panel of judges, made up of architects, interior designers, journalists and influencers from the segment. The award-winning tub will be part of an exhibition in Milan in April, as part of the Brazil S/A show during the Salone del Mobile in Milan .
