Correio Braziliense and CASACOR Brasília elect the best of the 2021 edition

The CASACOR Brasília/Correio Braziliense Award has revealed the winners of its 4th edition. The best environments of the show in Brasília were chosen by popular vote and technical jury . This year, the 37 environments in the exhibition competed in 10 categories, in addition to the honorable mention for external environment won by the Sainz Arquitetura office, the BRB Invisible Heroes Gallery . The winners received a trophy made of carbon steel painted silver with a white marble base with gray stripes, created by award-winning visual artist Darlan Rosa especially for this year. The artist designed a cube that is reminiscent of a space in a project and with several hollow rectangles from which it is possible to see the interior. The popular vote , through the Correio Braziliense website, elected the best in the following categories: Bathroom Dream, won by the São Geraldo Bathroom Room , designed by Palloma Meneghello Arquitetura & Associados; Kitchen Dream, by Casa Finitura , designed by the duo Hélio Albuquerque and Sonia Peres; Bedroom Dream, which had as its winner the Casa Das Bonecas project , Vivian Maia; and Sonho de Sala, won by Espaço Gourmet , by the CASACOR Brasília debutant, Maria Araújo.

The winners were: Most Original Project, tied, Living Kit House & Tektons (Studio Gontijo) and Refúgio Ori (Traama Arquitetura). Best Use of Artwork: Casa Finitura (Hélio Albuquerque and Sonia Peres). Most Bold, tied , Loft Fit (Miguel Gustavo) and Studio Fiat (Studio Ark). Commercial Use: Aroma CASACOR restaurant (Flávia Nasr Arquitetura). Best Outdoor Area Project: Botanical (Studio Pippa). Best Project: tied, DECA Space (Deborah Pinheiro Arquitetura) and Casa DURATEX , signed by Ney Lima and Walléria Teixeira. Created in 2017, the CASACOR Brasília/Correio Braziliense Award aims to recognize and publicize the best decoration, design and landscaping projects carried out at the show, in addition to highlighting the creativity and innovation of professionals in these areas. “CASACOR is a tradition in Brasília, which gives the opportunity for great architects from the DF to showcase their work and it is very important for us to value and reward these professionals,” said the executive vice-president of Correio Braziliense, Guilherme Machado. “Everyone who participates in the show is a winner. Our success is the result of the talent of the professionals who created the 37 spaces this year,” highlighted Sheila de Podestá , organizer of CASACOR Brasília alongside Eliane Martins and Moema Leão .
