The city of
São Paulo will become a stage to celebrate national artistic production during the 13th edition of
DW! São Paulo Design Week , the largest festival of its kind in Latin America, which will take place from
March 14 to 24. With more than a thousand participating creators and brands, spread across
130 locations throughout the city , this event promises to be a landmark event
dedicated to design, art and culture .
Created in 2012 by entrepreneur Lauro Andrade, DW! São Paulo Design Week is more than just a festival; it is a platform for dialogue, innovation and social transformation. By bringing together a variety of sectors, from architecture and crafts to business and technology, the event promotes a plural and diverse approach to contemporary issues. This year,
DW! SP 2024 will focus on an important theme:
water . The choice of this theme
pays homage to the seven rivers and streams that shaped the history and expansion of São Paulo , a subject discussed in the documentary “Entro Rios”, directed by Caio Ferraz,
which served as a reference for building the campaign’s storytelling . In an effort to highlight the importance of this vital resource,
the event’s seven physical districts are closely linked to the presence of water in the city. Confirmed creatives include Suite Arquitetos, Patricia Anastassiadis, Jader Almeida, Fernanda Marques, Latoog, Cité Arquitetos, Carol Gay, Marko Brajovic, FGMF, Mula Preta, Arthur Casas , and the Italian architect Simone Micheli will also be present, bringing an international perspective to the event. Participating brands include Colormix, Tapetah, By Kamy, Senac-SP, Criare, D&D Shopping, IED-SP, Belas Artes, Refúgios Urbanos, among others. On the
CASACOR website and
media you will find complete coverage of DW! 2024. Don't miss it!
