The countdown to CASACOR Alagoas 2017 begins

The best professionals in architecture, design and landscaping will gather at Maceió Parque Shopping in early spring to exhibit their work at CASACOR Alagoas 2017. The show is scheduled to take place between October 12 and December 10, with 28 environments in more than 4,000 m² . This year's theme is “Focus on the Essential” and the event will also pay tribute to the state's 200th anniversary. Curated by Pedro Ariel, the spaces will focus on simplicity, sustainability and quality of life, without leaving aside beauty and style. “We are certain that another great exhibition is on the way, bringing together the best trends in architecture, decoration and landscaping for the public, and providing great business opportunities for all professionals and partners involved,” adds Alessandro Silva, franchisee of the exhibition. Ticket with Entrance Lounge - Mario Aloisio and Sidcley Barros. The vibrant colors are even more expressive against the gray walls, which also give due emphasis to the irregular geometric ceiling. The coffee table was made from recycled metal waste, and the neon orange hose sofa has an exclusive design by the architects.

Twins' Room - Alan Gaia. The designer didn't bother to theme the space and used timeless wallpapers and coverings, which can be used by boys or girls until early childhood. Other walls were covered in Roman travertine marble, while the floor was covered in solid reforested wood. The refinement continues in the bed linen, in 400 thread count cotton, and in the handmade chandelier.

Master Suite for a Young Couple - Jéssica Jucá and Luiza Vasconcelos. Measuring 18m², the space has features that create a sense of spaciousness, such as large mirrors. Indirect lighting creates an intimate atmosphere, as do the gray-toned furniture and wooden paneling.

Kitchen with Balcony - Emanuelle Barbosa and Oeiza Jacquesy Torres. The kitchen features hydraulic tiles and the warmth of wood-effect porcelain tiles, which contrast with the crystal lacquer and glass furniture. Note that the sink was carved into the Silestone countertop itself.

Living Room - Carolina Mota. On the floor, the architect chose to combine two different porcelain tiles: one inspired by burnt cement and the other by tiles. This raw material also covers the walls, as in the version with high relief and golden tones, behind the sofa. Wooden furniture - some with a lacquered finish - and upholstery in linen and leather also confirm the refinement.

Neto's Suite - Suzana Araújo. Straight lines are in the DNA of the project, designed to accompany the 5-year-old boy until his adolescence. The blue lacquered portico and the niches in the same tone have great graphic appeal, while touches of yellow brighten the ambiance. On the ceiling, stylized kites highlight the importance of cultivating old games. The solid surfaces, in shades of gray, are designed in Corian.

Guest Suite - Diva Carolina. Colorful cement tiles combined with textures are the highlight of the decor in the bedroom and bathroom, which are fully integrated. The space was adapted to accommodate people of various ages with reduced mobility, prioritizing wide circulations without visual barriers.

Granddaughter Blogger's Suite - Ana Clara Costa, Carol Alves and Marilia Duarte. The counter can be used as a work desk and dressing table, located at the junction between the sleeping area and the closet. The armchair was handcrafted and also draws the eye to the eggplant-colored wallpaper, which marks this setting. Above the bed, the plaster design on the ceiling draws attention, as well as the covering on the TV wall, which is a reinterpretation of filet lace. The bed has a padded linen headboard and is articulated, offering total comfort.

Chef's Kitchen with Gazebo - Evelyne Cruz, Estevão Corado and Luiz Tavares. A stackable clay wine cellar creates a relaxing and research environment for the recipe creator. Artist Joana Lira designed the tiles that adorn the wall with all their Brazilian flair. The furniture is predominantly wood and has finishes with a worn look. The aqua-green stone, also used on the island, lends a fresh feel to the result.

Couple's Relax SPA - Rosângela Carvalho and Enio Tenório Bomfim. The generous space of 91m² invites you to relax and combines hall, living room, sink and a small pantry. The elevated deck, covered in Ecoville Eliane, houses a hot tub. The blue-green of the details makes a delicate reference to the tone of the Alagoas sea. The tables made of jackfruit and mesquite tree trunks cite the exuberant nature of the countryside, as does the design on the ceiling made with tobacco rods, commonly used on clotheslines for drying rope tobacco. Another feature worth paying attention to is the 3.6 x 2.5m panel signed by artist Antonio Albério, with certified eucalyptus leftovers.

Container House - Cláudio Peixoto and Fabíola Costa e Silva. To produce this complete house, construction was about 80% faster than conventional construction and used four containers, resulting in 120m². The space was divided into an Afro-Brazilian living room, a Buddhist kitchen, a mad hatter children's bedroom, a glamorous master bedroom and a family bathroom. The finishing materials are the same, but the modular concept and flexible system make all the difference. The entire house was also covered with PET wool, a thermal insulator that provides a pleasant climate in any season.

Praça das Águas - Adriana Esequiel. The professional created a small ecosystem by combining the ornamental lake and the garden. Diverse fish, special rocks and aquatic plants bring life to the place, which displays paintings by the Minas Gerais native Menote Cordeiro, sculptures made of eucalyptus logs by the São Paulo native Fábio Curi and works by the visual artist from Alagoas, Persivaldo Figueiroa, among others.

Café com Canecaria - Christiano Montenegro and Mercia Marinho. The mugs are displayed in a large piece of furniture with niches, whose raw material matches the worn appearance of the corten steel applied to a panel. Everything was designed to make the colors of the products stand out. A cellulose acoustic fiber in a concrete tone was used for the ceiling lining. At the tables, another highlight: the tops are reused wood and receive a special painting by the artist Valentim.

Restaurant with Garage - Mariana Freitas and Teresa Castro. The space was developed in 144m² and refers to the colors and textures of the Amazon Rainforest. Indigenous headdresses are on display and special attention is paid to the use of green in the landscaping. In addition, it prioritizes sustainable furniture made with pallets, crates and spools.

Women's Public Bathroom - Aniete Rocha, Fernanda Medeiros, Janete Barros and Margíria Mércia. The architects delicately incorporate the reference to filet lace into the wallpaper. The equally well-crafted frames complement it, while the wooden countertops, matte sinks and worn-looking wall create a rustic counterpoint.

Champagne Bar - Alex Leite, Fernanda Rego and Lula Santana. The spacious lounge appears even larger thanks to the generous mirror panel, which reflects the furniture with its pure shapes, the exclusive fabrics and the sophisticated atmosphere created by the lighting. A huge vertical garden and the Kokedama (garden with moss balls) stand out with wild species. The use of concrete, in contrast, aligns the project with trends and appears in the precast coverings.

Record Incorporações Space - Ceres Vasconcelos, Carolina Vasconcelos and Luisa Machado. The 150m² space was designed as a coworking space, where diverse people come together to work and interact. The focus on Brazilianness is evident in the hydraulic tile carpet, marking the cement floor. A highlight is the armchair designed by the art and design collective Outra Oficina, a partnership between visual artist and designer Marcelo Stefanovicz and designer Léo Capote.

Designer's Office - Fanny Rettore and Marcela Lopes. The day-to-day life of a children's fashion designer drove the creativity of the duo, who opted for the use of dry pink and navy blue tones in the custom furniture, as well as playful touches such as the swing. The scene is reflected in the huge mirror panel, which also houses the gallery of paintings. On the ceiling, PVC details create a reinterpretation of the hydraulic tiles of the Corrente Church in Penedo, a historic city in Alagoas. The rest of the ceiling and the floor are finished in gray.

Lodje Boutique Sebrae - Roberto Costa Farias. To create this space, the architect used certified and demolition wood combined with a series of objects, fabrics, pieces of art and crafts from Alagoas. In the finishes, there is a mix of wood, laminates, leather, straw, ceramics and stone, which affirm a sustainable space with a strong identification with the place.

In addition to the numerous images of the construction of Parque Shopping Maceió, the venue for the exhibition, the professional brought the colors and elements of Morocco as inspiration for the environment to compose her space, a casual, comfortable and sophisticated place. The place evokes a beachy atmosphere by using framed photos with landscapes of the state.

Kitchen with Service Area - Henrique Gomes and Inês Amorim. The architects show that it is possible to design sophisticated and bold spaces at affordable costs. Furniture, utensils, flooring and coverings, always used economically, contribute to a cozy atmosphere with references to contemporary and classic design.

Young Designer's Apartment - Alana Apratto, Cândida Cabral and Caterine Cabral. Filet lace, simplicity, Renaissance and crochet are regional references reinterpreted under a contemporary perspective that guide the project. It is filled with exclusive pieces, such as the Vera lamp in ouricuri basketwork, by Rodrigo Ambrosio. Solange Arruda weaves in crochet, rings and fringes an unusual composition of ceiling wheel and curtain, highlighted by the LED strip that acts as lighting. In fact, a path on the ceiling is formed by the honeycomb weave in plaster with acrylic finish, reminiscent of the Renaissance. Another artisanal touch is on the upholstered wall, in a herringbone pattern.

Toy Library - Laryssa Pires. The favorite place for children and teenagers at the exhibition. The Montessori philosophy states that everything should be structured according to the children's perspective, prioritizing the direct and personal search for learning. Thus, the Toy Library was designed as a playful space where children could be encouraged to play and move around freely, exploring the things within their reach. Everything was designed with ergonomics, beauty and safety in mind. Highlights include the Frida Kahlo-inspired panel, with flowers and lots of colors.

Monitoring room - Lucielma Lima and Luzia Brasileiro. The successful businessman's environment brings numerous references to the sports he has practiced since adolescence: swimming, cycling and running. The symbolic references revive the use of blue, used as the color that stimulates intellectual exercise, tranquility and creativity; a garden, which brings together man and nature, a common experience for triathletes; and the sea, outlined by the 3D coating of the monitor panel, transmitting the fluidity of the waves.

Young Designer's Suite - Ana Luiza Menezes and Fernanda Amaral. The duo brings an elegant interpretation of crochet lines, beads and the popular chintz fabric to the space. The furniture highlights include the benches made of twisted roots and branches by master Fernando Rodrigues dos Santos and the Ajuá swing by designer Rodrigo Ambrósio, made from a single block of fallen jackfruit tree. They complement the rusticity of the mortar-covered walls and the burnt cement floor. To add sophistication, the duo opted for gold on the lacquered MDF headboard panel, the blinds and the Bengala pendant light. The tufted ottoman in Tiffany blue serves the bedroom and the integrated closet.

The winter garden maintains harmony with nature, experienced in the athlete's daily life, as well as the photographs and the canvas that portrays the strength of a feline.

Kitchen with Service Area and Gourmet Balcony - Amanda Vilela and Carol Couto. The 43m² space is decorated with porcelain tiles that resemble wood and has hanging cabinets of different heights. The Venetian stucco texture, with a marbled effect, was applied to the walls and ceiling. With this base, the standout elements became the countertop and the cabinets lacquered in royal blue. Reflecta glass sliding doors separate the space from the service area and have a built-in TV.

Family Terrace - Adriana Cavalcanti and Tácio Rodrigues. Many people from Alagoas, especially from the countryside, remember terraces as meeting places. Rocking chairs, lounge chairs and hydraulic tile floors are a must here, as are objects that express popular culture - good examples are the necklace sculpture by Maria Amélia and the flamingo by Antônio de Dedé.

Contemporary Room - Tiago Angeli and Ricardo Leão. Treated eucalyptus floors and walls have a bold layout that makes the most of the planks, while discarded rail sleepers come into play as furniture, supporting the home theater equipment. Other highlights include the Gio armchair, by Sérgio Rodrigues, and the Gonzaga bench, by Rodrigo Ambrósio from Alagoas, as well as the Italian Flos 265 lamp, by Paolo Rizzatto. There is also space for the architects' original creations, such as the Caviúna screen, which frames the noble wood veneer, and the Bilro cushion, inspired by the support used by lacemakers.
