One of the trends of contemporary times is shared spaces. This urban movement aims to revive coexistence between people, the concept of plurality and conscious use, not only of objects, but also of the environment itself. And there is nothing better than share and divide moments, whether with people you know or making new connections and friends. Based on this motto and the theme of CASACOR 2018 ,A Casa Viva , Clariça Lima and her studio bring to the São Paulo exhibition the Coliving , a place for meetings, conversations, peaceful and relaxed moments, bathed in plants, flowers and design.

“I wanted the garden to be full of people engaged in conversation, enjoying all the possibilities offered in this space, whether appreciating the colors of nature, the comfort of the furniture or the freshness of an outdoor space,” explains Clariça. “Coliving encourages coexistence . This is a characteristic that I carry in all my landscape projects.”

The strong point of the project is the fluidity and good circulation, which is provided by the linearity and arrangement of the furniture and plants. Two benches with flower pots made of sheet metal, painted orange, embrace and preserve the existing trees in the Jockey and offer a pleasant rest for the public. Color is also a very present element in the garden, whether in the ombré paint on the walls of the room or in the furniture.

Clariça bets on a mix of species, which bring a relaxed and cozy atmosphere, using: wavy guaimbê ( Philodendron undulatum ), lyre fig ( Ficus Lyrata ), elastic ficus ( Ficus elastica ), guaimbê ( Philodendron bipinnatifidum ) , philodendron- autumn ( Philodendron autumn) , Angolan philodendron ( Philodendron hastatum ), pleomele fita ( Dracaena reflexa ), araçá ( Psidium cattleianum ), blood maranta ( Stromanthe thalia) , medallion maranta ( Calathea medallion ), pinanga ( Pinanga coronata ), shrimpwort -elegant ( Chamaedorea elegans), cherry (Eugenia uniflora), elephant's foot (Beaucarnea recurvata), peperomia ( Peperomia scandens), among other species.

One of the highlights is the ceramic vases in the shape of letters, signed by Marilá Dardot, and exhibited at Inhotim, one of the main collections of contemporary art in Brazil. The landscaper provides letters for the viewer to compose words and phrases. There are also totems with sockets and USB ports for charging cell phones and notebooks, where the public can also connect and work in a more relaxed atmosphere. CASACOR SERVICE SAO PAULO 2018 WHEN?
