This coming Saturday, January 28th, CAU/SP (Architecture and Urban Planning Council of São Paulo) will host a discussion group at its headquarters, in the historic city center, about the forms of action, difficulties in insertion and racism. in the professional practice of Architecture and Urban Planning . The ' II Meeting of Black Architects of CAU/SP and IABSP ' should bring together representatives from the main institutions in the area of Architecture and Urbanism; from higher education institutions; from entities linked to related themes; from public bodies, such as the Ministry of Racial Equality; and some of the main black movements. Interested parties do not need to register and the meeting is open to everyone. The first edition of this event took place in November last year at the headquarters of the Brazilian Institute of Architects -- São Paulo Department, in the capital, and had as its central theme “Education”, addressing, among other subjects, the issue of quotas and the timetable curricular.
