About the Jô Clemente Institute
The Jô Clemente Institute (IJC), formerly Apae de São Paulo, is a non-profit Civil Society Organization that has been promoting health and quality of life for people with intellectual disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and rare diseases for 61 years. in addition to supporting their social inclusion and the defense of their rights, disseminating knowledge through scientific research. With pioneering and innovation as premises, it operates from birth to old age, providing the development of skills and potential that favor schooling and supported employment, in addition to offering legal advice to families regarding the rights of people with intellectual disabilities.
