The directors of CASACOR Sergipe, Mêrces Sousa, Gilvan Acciolli and Rodrigo Fonseca, welcomed architects, interior designers, landscapers and suppliers on May 13th for the open house of the 2026 edition of the show. The meeting officially presented the property that will host the next edition of the largest event in Aracaju.
Between October 8th and November 20th, CASACOR Sergipe will occupy one of the most emblematic residences in the Sergipe capital, located at Avenida Santos Dumont, 1089, on Orla da Atalaia. With a privileged seaside location, the property stands out for its imposing architecture, integration with the natural landscape and sophisticated atmosphere.

During the open house, the professionals had their first contact with the house, which will be given a new look in the coming months. In addition to learning about the show's masterplan, the guests were able to begin choosing the spaces where they will develop their projects. In total, the edition will feature 33 projects spread over an area of more than 4 thousand m².

"For this year, the show will take the public to one of the most emblematic houses in the city, located by the sea, in the Lagos region, on Orla da Atalaia, reinforcing the movement that began last year of revealing properties with architectural and symbolic value within Sergipe society," highlights Mêrces Sousa.

The chosen property has a strong presence of landscaping and promotes integration between indoor and outdoor areas through architecture that values outdoor permanence and natural lighting. Large openings, mashrabiyas and skylights enhance the entry of light and help create welcoming and well-lit projects.
"Once again, CASACOR Sergipe's idea is to occupy iconic spaces in the city. Last year, we opened the Summer Palace to the public, sparking great interest from visitors, and now we have arrived at one of the most emblematic houses in Aracaju. I am sure that this edition will also attract a significant audience and provide memorable experiences," highlights Rodrigo Fonseca.

Guided by the theme "Mind and Heart", CASACOR 2026 proposes a reflection on the home as a space of balance, slowing down and reconnection. The edition invites professionals to think of projects as refuges capable of welcoming body and spirit, reason and sensitivity, in the face of the concerns caused by the excess of stimuli and contemporary routine.

After the technical visit to the property, the enthusiasm among the participants was evident, especially among those who already had some emotional connection with the address. "When I arrived in Aracaju, I lived on this same street and always admired the architectural grandeur of this house. For me, there is a very strong emotional memory in this place. Combined with the proximity to the sea, the exuberant nature and the countless creative possibilities that the property offers, I feel that my seventh participation in the show will be very special," says architect Júnior Ordoñez.
