CASACOR Santa Catarina is making a commitment to the future of children and adolescents who are assisted by IDES
(Irmandade do Divino Espírito Santo), founded 244 years ago. This year, the Santa Catarina exhibition will be held in the old building of this institution, and promises to revamp and restore the building so that it can host events, generating income for the entity, and thus strengthening this charitable work that began in 1773, with the founding of the Brotherhood. IDES maintains, next to the site, the Lar São Vicente de Paulo and the Centro Educacional Infantil Girassol (CEIG), where 417 children and more than 300 young people are currently served in different programs. In its 244 years of activities, more than 800 children for adoption. "Opening doors, restoring hope and encouraging children, adolescents, young people and their respective families, so that they can be protagonists of their lives, transforming the reality and the environment in which they live, through the promotion of citizenship and "social development" is the entity's mission.
