CASACOR São Paulo hosted at Speakeasy, a project designed by Studio Gaibola, the "Noite do Desejo" (Night of Desire), a gathering promoted by the women's book club Great Books Great Tits. The event, which took place last Friday (03), marked the closing of the first semester of meetings dedicated to the theme of desire, a research conducted by members of the project throughout 2026.
Inspired by the reflections present in Eros, the Bittersweet, by Anne Carson, published in Brazil by Bazar do Tempo, the club devoted the last few months to reading and discussing works written by women. Throughout its journey, Great Books Great Tits has also promoted gatherings around authors such as Fernanda Young, Hilda Hilst, and Anne Carson herself.

Founded by Leticia Zambon and Lua Galvani, Great Books Great Tits began as a book club and today also works as a creative hub focused on building repertoire and community among women. With meetings held in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, the project currently occupies CRN932, Carnan's cocktail and lifestyle bar, where it promotes conversations about literature produced by women and its unfoldings in contemporary life.

For the reading gathering, Shake&Stir developed the exclusive drink "BookMe", prepared with yuzu and aged rum, along with ingredients specially chosen for the experience. The night also marked the presentation of a pendant created in partnership with the studio-boutique Nïn Jewels, which will be officially launched on the brands' channels throughout the second semester.
"Desire has become a recurring topic in our readings and also in the lives of the club's members. Being able to gather so many women to talk about this theme is, in addition to magical, a reaffirmation of the project's purpose", says Leticia Zambon, co-founder of Great Books Great Tits.
"Beyond a seasonal exhibition, CASACOR is a cultural platform that designs relationships. Bringing projects such as Great Books Great Tits reinforces the idea that architecture goes beyond furniture and decoration: it can also be a space for gathering, exchange and the construction of new experiences, including through literature.", says Rodrigo Avelar, Head of Marketing at CASACOR.
