CASACOR presents to the public the unprecedented series Diário de Obra, a video series on YouTube that follows the behind-the-scenes of the construction of Casa Simonetto, a project signed by architect Gabriel Fernandes in tribute to Janete Costa for CASACOR São Paulo 2026. Throughout five episodes, the production reveals the processes, challenges and decisions that run through the execution of the project, from conceptual research to the rhythm of the construction site.

The first episode premiered this Sunday, May 10, and presents the initial stages of assembling the project, in addition to the references that structure the project. The series proposes a closer look at the architectural craft, highlighting not only the aesthetic and technical choices, but also the unforeseen events and adaptations during the assembly period. The series reinforces CASACOR's role as a platform that connects professionals, brands and the public around contemporary architectural craft.

In the debut episode, Gabriel's creative journey also reveals a strong connection with territory, manual craftsmanship and Brazilian culture — themes that unfold in his research and professional practice. This approach dialogues directly with the legacy of Janete Costa, one of the main references of architecture and popular art in Brazil, who conceptually inspired the project developed by Gabriel. "My search today has been to access that place, to cause in people the same emotion I felt when I understood what territory was and what territory could do as a transformation in people's lives", says the architect in the interview.

Throughout the episodes, the public follows the evolution of Casa Simonetto and can understand how ideas take shape and observe materials, textures, colors and handcrafted pieces giving shape to the project. The programming continues with new chapters released weekly: the second episode airs on May 17, followed by releases on May 24 and 31, and the finale on June 7.

The Diário de Obra series is sponsored by Porto Serviço, with support from Simonetto and participation of Coral and Baptista. The audiovisual production is by Lume.
