From reflections on post-pandemic living to the recovery of memories of Brazilian culture, CASACOR Santa Catarina , which took place between September 18 and October 30 in the historic building of the Silveira de Souza School, in Florianópolis, left important marks. Each environment, assembled according to the professional's vision on the theme “ Infinito Particular ”, told a story that remains as a legacy of the architecture and design show . The 27th edition – the 10th under the management of franchisees Francis Bernardo and Luiz Bernardo – also marks the return to the in-person event format without access restrictions – a very symbolic moment for everyone . Marisa Lebarbenchon Interiors - Hall + Varanda Burburinho. The space that welcomed visitors highlighted and valued – without overshadowing – the beauty of the architecture of the Silveira de Souza School building, full of memories and listed as a Historical Heritage site. To further highlight national culture, the professional brought works of art by local artists related to the event's theme to the space.

Leandro Sumar - Seperti Mimpi. The space marked the idea of the house as a place that tells the story of its resident, highlighting the importance of a decoration that represents who lives there. The loft had a strong beach inspiration, with the theme clearly appearing in objects such as the surfboard frame at the entrance and the wavy wooden ceiling.

RCK Integrated - Fly Wine Emporium

RCK Integradas - Empório Do Vinho Voar. The importance of artisanal work and the social aspect that surrounds it marked the space, full of handmade works, such as tables carved from cumaru wood, marble mosaics and screens produced by the architect. One of the highlights, which enchanted visitors, was the painting made by 47 children at social risk from the NGO ASAS.

Mariana De Souza - Ca.Fé. The environment revived one of the country's most important products: coffee. The product was presented in vases, showing visitors its various stages of growth, such as plant, seed and grain. The tribute to the beverage was made in a very sensorial environment, reminiscent of grandma's old homes.

Felipe Müller Arquitetura and Crippa e Assis Arquitetura - Petra Bistrô by ArcelorMittal. The space showed that materials considered common and “raw”, such as stone, iron, concrete, marble and wood, can become extraordinary objects and structures, if they are used in different ways.

Giusti Mercadante Arquitetura - Lumino Galeria and Functional Bathrooms. The space highlighted the importance of works of art to create environments with personality. A simple hallway was transformed into a mini art gallery, with the collection of images “Redes”, produced by renowned photographer and artist Tonico Alvares.

Studio Gabriel Bordin - Allora Room. The space conveyed the idea of a cyclical home, which changes over time and is not static. The past and the present can coexist as complementary times within the same home. It is the most organic way of living that inspires new times.

Daniel Ghizi and Carolina Zettermann de Almeida - Daniel Ghizi Arquitetura Office - Casa 15. The space is a celebration of the architect's office, which is celebrating its 15th anniversary, and the official arrival of the office in Florianópolis. The spacious and bright space created a unique atmosphere of peace and relaxation, in synergy with nature, with the site's century-old trees being "embraced" by the space's architecture.

Ana Trevisan - Espaços Vivos - Jardim Bem-Te-Vi. The typical Atlantic Forest bird that gives the space its name was the professional's point of inspiration to rescue the history of the place where the exhibition took place and bring a sense of belonging to visitors. The sensorial and inviting garden underwent an ecological recovery process, with the removal of invasive exotic plant species and the planting of native species, to return to its original form.

Estela Cislaghi Arquitetura e Design - Living CO-Existir. The freedom of living in a flexible space, in tune with the “new living”, more integrated, gave rise to an environment in which exterior and interior form a single, large corridor, separated only by glass doors that can be opened and closed as the resident wishes.

Octahedro Architecture - Emanueli Schneiders and Leonardo Gazzoni - Casa em Percurso. The space presented the idea that transience is something constant in our lives. Using an ebonized wood pergola that extends throughout the space, the professionals created the idea of an interior/exterior connection made in a light and fluid, almost imperceptible way, creating a haven of well-being and contemplation.

Natalia Xavier - Loft Daydreams of a young lawyer. The professional managed to break the idea of seriousness with which the legal profession is seen by creating an elegant and relaxed loft for a young professional in the area. The implicit message of being able to be who you are, without labels, was one of the highlights of the space.

Mariana Maisonnave Arquitetura e Interiores - Abraço. The house as a place of comfort, like a big, warm hug, was the concept behind the space. Filled with natural light and wood, light tones, it brought a tree inside a glass box in the middle of the space and a bed with a headboard that extends to the sides, as if enveloping the residents.

Michael Zanghelini - Living. In this space, the professional brought architecture as an alchemy that promotes sensations and states in the body. To create a welcoming and sensorial living space, he sought to awaken and align vibrations and energies through the colors, materials, objects and works of art used in the environment, all with a purpose.

GF Arquitetos – Beto Gebara and Marila Filátiga and Terraço Paisagismo – Rodrigo Gheller - “I’m from here, I’m not from Mars”. The professionals sought to highlight Brazilian architecture and tropical vegetation. The cobogó, a typically Brazilian element, is prominently featured in the space, in pieces made from sururu shells, a mollusk that is an intangible heritage of Alagoas.

Fernanda Sacks - Praça da Ilha. The space, created by the professional from Garibaldi (RS), paid homage to the city of Florianópolis, with its natural landscape, climate and way of life. With organic design and materials in their raw form, the landscaping sought to recreate, in a conceptual way, the regional landscape of the sea, surrounded by mountains with dense vegetation, bringing to the place a water mirror flanked by large moray eel flower beds.

As the name suggests, the space celebrates the meeting of architects Cris Passing and Anderson Schussler, who now form a new duo in the Santa Catarina market. As a representation of this union, which began during the pandemic, the living room was designed to be harmonious, comfortable and balanced, providing well-being to the people who live there.

Alpes Arquitetura - MOVAE Space. The name of the place, which in Tupi means “to welcome”, brings the idea of respect for the existing place, incorporating what already exists to create a new space. The building constructed from a metal structure to house the show's ticket booth was placed between the two centuries-old jackfruit trees, showing that architecture is synchronicity.

VK Arquitetos - Passeio Do Mar by GND. The space sought to convey the desire for calm that is so sought after these days through a space that represents the lightness of life at the beach. With wood, light tones, textures and natural finishes, the place enveloped visitors in a gentle atmosphere, like a sea breeze.

Anna Maya - My infinite private. The architect wanted to mark the space with the DNA of her work, making a pun on the theme of the exhibition in the name of the space. Symbolic and representative, the space brought a lot of the professional's personality, which stands out for an imposing architecture that, at the same time, is casual and impactful. The circular shapes - a brand that is a reference in the architect's projects - punctuate different solutions in the space.

Studio Allure Arquitetura - A pause of a thousand beats. Silence and contemplation mark the environment inspired by the phrase that gives the space its name, taken from an excerpt from the song “Para Ver as Meninas”, by Paulinho da Viola. The environment with garden and indoor area highlighted moments of silence and calm, with spaces dedicated to rest and relaxation, as necessary and fundamental to recharge the batteries to face life.

Juliana Loffi Arquitetura & Design - Casa vou de Rosa. The concept space, set up in a modular home, was filled with feelings of overcoming and highlighted the importance of self-care for early diagnosis, treatment and prevention of breast cancer, a disease that the professional has faced twice. The Pink October campaign was one of the inspirations and gained a painting of flowers in the external area, symbolizing rebirth, done by artist Lais Odeli.

Inspired by the song Odara, by Caetano Veloso, the space celebrated Brazilian popular music (MPB), featuring a decor with a strong national identity in shades of green and original works by photographer Vania Toledo, which portrayed big names such as Gal Costa, Roberto Carlos, Erasmo Carlos and Nara Leão.

Delpizzo Arquitetura - Paradiso Deca Bathroom. The space celebrates the great writer Charles Dickens, featuring a decor inspired by the 1985 film “Great Expectations”, which was based on the artist’s book of the same name. The idea of introspection as a way of restoring balance marked the space.

Porto Maestri – Carol Porto and Isadora Maestri - Aromatmosfera. The place, which housed the Mels Brushes fragrance store, was an invitation to disconnect and relax, valuing other senses. The pleasant smells of the aromas were a brief demonstration of different ways to connect with yourself.

Cristina Iglesias - Between Plots and History. The space elevated the handmade rugs to the status of works of art, displaying them as paintings. The unique pieces, made by nomadic tribes, brought a bit of the history of each people to the exhibition, bringing such ancestral knowledge closer to visitors.

Fernando Luiz Dal Bosco - Refúgio Undici REVEEV. The space, inspired by the time the professional lived outside of Brazil, managed to bring together the old and the contemporary in a natural way and combine European and Brazilian references in a harmonious way, showing a design without borders. In addition, it brought to the show the new trend of living, with multifunctional spaces: in addition to a bedroom, there is a living room, an office and even a library.
