In a celebratory atmosphere, CASACOR Rio Grande do Sul 2021 said goodbye to the public last Sunday, November 7th, with an event for architects and suppliers, toasting the positive balance of its 29th edition , which received, over 45 days, around 20 thousand people at the headquarters of the former Santo Antônio Children's Hospital, in the 4th District, in Porto Alegre. The first exhibition since the beginning of the pandemic marked the resumption of major events in Rio Grande do Sul and a season of many challenges and achievements. "After a year without in-person events, we achieved our goal of holding a CASACOR that would move the architecture and design market, generating excellent results for our exhibiting partners, cast, supporters and sponsors. Always with the concern of delivering to the public a complete cultural and entertainment option, with a safe environment and following all current protocols", celebrates the director of the exhibition, Karina Capaverde. This season, the show in Porto Alegre presented 34 environments bringing together the main trends and innovations in architecture , decoration and landscaping designed by 55 professionals from Porto Alegre and the interior of the state. With the support of Costaneira, the return of the CASACOR Rio Grande do Sul Award was one of the highlights of the year! Art and crafts were also big attractions of this edition. The immersion through various artistic expressions was present through several works , such as the mural by artist Bruno Schilling , presenting his work that wanders through geometric abstractionism and kinetic art and the mural signed by Tâmisa Trommer , from Nacar Studio. The works were curated by Viviane Possa, founder of Genuinaobra GO ART Planning, cultural producer and art advisor. Another highlight, the "Seiza Exhibition" Room, was designed by architect Fernanda Basso , with a concept of aesthetic essentialism linked to Eastern philosophy . designed with architecture, art and experiences proposing moments of contemplation of the works, sounds, lights and nuances that incorporated the environment. The “Loja Casa Original” brought to the event a mix of crafts and design with exclusive pieces signed by artisans from Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina and Minas Gerais. The “Galeria e Loja de Arte ” presented a series of photographic paintings in fine art by national and international artists from Luka.Art.
A bistro with cafés, a bar, a wine bar and a wine shop were part of the gastronomic itinerary of the show. The operation of the “Bistrô Arauco” was signed by chef Daniel Menezes, from the DMZ Group, and the wine shop was operated by Terroir Vinhos de Boutique. CASACOR RS continues with digital experience

CASACOR RS 2021 will continue to be held digitally! Another success of the edition, the 3D Tour It is a project that remains available on the website, offering an online tour of all the spaces of the Rio Grande do Sul exhibition, showing details of the professionals' work. Next year, the event will be held for the 30th time and will be held in a new location, which will be announced in the coming weeks. The scheduled date is August.
