In the year in which it completes 30 years of operations in Porto Alegre,
CASACOR Rio Grande do Sul announces the headquarters that will host the exhibition in 2022: the location, a building constructed in 1923 by Pedro Chaves Barcellos and his wife Ilza Chaves Barcellos, is marked for its eclectic architectural style. The exhibition is scheduled to take place between August and October 2022.

In the heights of the
Rio Branco neighborhood, the building was designed to shelter and educate orphaned and needy girls, and remained in operation through the Association of Franciscan Sisters until 2005.
The century-old building is notable for elements such as the imposing façade with its wide staircases; the architectural details of the ceilings and interior doors; the tile and wood floors; and the rich
neo-Gothic chapel , in an impressive state of conservation, which can be seen by visitors. through the mezzanine of the house.

450 thousand visitors have attended the event over the last 30 years, taking with them some of the experience, creativity and inspiration conveyed by the 1,160 environments on display, designed by more than 2,000 professionals in the areas of architecture, interior design and landscaping from the State and the Brazil.
