Since 1991, CASACOR Rio de Janeiro has been translating the Rio way of living in events that bring together great professionals in architecture, interior design and landscaping. The doors are always open to the public in iconic properties that are true jewels of Rio's architecture: palaces - often restored to house the exhibition -, urban houses, real estate launches, hotels, neoclassical mansions and even a village of semi-detached houses - the Villa Aymore.

" CASACOR Rio was the first event franchise in the country, at a time when the decoration market was still very incipient. With CASACOR, we helped to build the culture of living, which did not yet exist at that time, and we generated an impact on the careers of many professionals", recalls Patrícia Mayer, who, alongside Patricia Quentel, has been at the helm of CASACOR Rio de Janeiro since the first event.

In these three decades, the exhibition lasted 1,232 days, was seen by more than a million people and had the participation of 878 professionals who decorated 1,305 environments. The trends presented are countless: from home-theater, with equipment that occupied considerable space in the environment, to complete control of the home in the palm of your hand; from the “invasion” of Italian furniture – brought about, at the time, by the equating of the real with the dollar – to the well-deserved appreciation of national design; from the emergence of super technological materials, such as corian or silestone, to the rediscovery and modernization of old coverings, such as hydraulic tiles and tiles.

"The first thing we think about every year is: what are we going to do to surprise? We always look at CASACOR as something on the move, an event that doesn't have a formula, and we have always known how to open the doors to new ideas and to bring innovations", evaluates Patrícia Mayer.
