The doors of
CASACOR Rio are once again
open to visitors. From noon this Tuesday,
the 20th ,
until May 30th , the public will be able to visit the exhibition which, this year, is hosted at
Residência Brando Barbosa – a very special little piece of hidden from the city, with the
natural beauty that so enchants the people of Rio (whether they were born in the city or adopted by it). With
12,000 square meters of open-air green space – an
entire block full of species typical of the Atlantic Forest – the house has a true
pocket forest for visitors to enjoy. A unique opportunity to get to know the space, which until then was private, and have a
moment of connection with nature and the beauty that only Rio offers,
without the risk of crowds .
This beautiful outdoor area is where the
leisure and gastronomic spaces are located. You can even enjoy the best of the decoration in the
38 environments created by
57 professionals including architects, interior designers and landscapers and, at the end of the visit,
enjoy the gardens in one of our restaurants. And is there a more carioca way to relax than this?
This year, visits must be
scheduled . Each visitor has two hours to explore the interiors of the
main house . Then, it is time to
sit in the gardens , breathe fresh air,
contemplate nature and relax, leaving aside, even if for a few moments, the hardships of everyday life.
CASACOR Rio is fully prepared to receive visitors, following
all the necessary health and safety standards required by the authorities for the exhibition to operate. In addition to the
extensive open-air green area , the main house is extremely airy with more than
50 French doors. and windows and a 5-meter ceiling height – conditions that provide cross ventilation and great
air circulation (there is not even air conditioning in the house).
Still, the number of people per space
is limited . All to ensure that there is no crowding. Throughout the exhibition space,
DECA has placed numerous
sanitizing points that allow visitors
to wash their hands as many times as they wish. In addition, there are distribution of
alcohol gel and the
use of masks and
social distancing are mandatory.

There will be no time restrictions for visiting the gardens, an outdoor area of 12,000 square meters. Visits to the 23 indoor areas must adhere to the schedule previously established in the booking. Masks must be worn. is mandatory.
