Sandro Ward – Façade Garden. The tropical garden uses many native plants from the Atlantic Forest that were already in the house’s extensive green area, but brings new additions such as philodendrons and exotic species, such as the giant African Aloe Vera and the Blue Yucca, originally from Mexico. Starting this Friday (05), CASACOR Rio de Janeiro enters its second week of exhibition with new opening hours : from Tuesdays to Fridays, the exhibition will be open from 12 pm to 8 pm. The café and restaurant The exhibition is open from 12pm to 5pm. On Saturdays and Sundays, visitors can visit between 10am and 8pm. On the same day, the café and restaurant will be open for breakfast, brunch and lunch from 10am to 5pm. The change follows the latest decree from the Rio de Janeiro City Hall, released on Tuesday, March 3, which restricted the operation of events in the city. In the year that celebrates 30 years since the first edition of the exhibition, CASACOR Rio de Janeiro brings a hybrid format for 2021: the in-person version, focusing on the experience of visiting the house, presents 38 environments at Palacete Brando Barbosa, an iconic address in Jardim Botanical garden surrounded by 12,000 m² of Atlantic Forest. The digital part enhances the experience for the public, who, even from a distance, can explore every detail of the projects – including spaces, patios and gardens – through 3D Tours , photos, videos and digital yearbook.
