CASACOR Peru has confirmed its 2018 edition! Between September 25th and November 4th, Casa Mario Bianco will host the best of design, decoration, architecture and landscaping! What’s new this year is that, in addition to being a reference in the world of architecture, the exhibition also aims to become a model in sustainability. Among the eco-friendly actions of the Peruvian event, we highlight three below: Abolition of plastic straws This year, there is a worldwide movement to reduce the use of plastic straws. This object has become one of the main villains against the environment. The facts about the utensil: it is manufactured in just one minute and has an average useful life of 10 minutes. , takes at least 200 years to decompose and can cause up to 1,000 deaths of marine species per year. With this in mind, the event committed to abolishing the use of plastic straws. CASACOR Minas Gerais was the pioneer in the idea and also abolished the object in 2018! EcoBike The second area of the Peruvian exhibition will be EcoBici ! The space will be dedicated to the use of bicycles and aims to encourage the public to use them as a means of transport to get to the event headquarters. The initiative will be carried out in partnership with the municipality of San Isidro. In addition to being a personal and collective benefit, it reduces the environmental impact caused by car engines.
