Driving the activities of the Curitiba decoration market, CASACOR Paraná held its first event on February 20 at the Galeria Laguna, an institutional supporter of the exhibition. The meeting, intended for the cast of this edition, featured unpublished lectures from the CASACOR curator, Pedro Ariel, and the carioca architect Gisele Taranto. On this occasion, the exhibiting professionals gathered to discuss the national theme of CASACOR for 2025.

Pedro Ariel presented the lecture Semear Sonhos, a creative proposal that will set the tone for the projects of the Paraná edition. Based on three pillars – collective dreams, cooperative ecosystems, and the confluence of knowledge – the theme aims to encourage professionals to rethink their practices, pointing to nature as an ally in the cities. The exhibitors were motivated to explore free creativity in their projects to reveal styles where the main guest is boldness.

With international projection, Gisele Taranto has already participated in 20 editions of CASACOR, signing projects such as Memórias Deca, at CASACOR São Paulo 2024, and Espaço Gafisa, at CASACOR Rio de Janeiro 2024. In Curitiba, the veteran addressed the theme Creative Trajectory at CASACOR, aiming to inspire professionals to break away from the commonplace. Her lecture brought diverse references for the creation of projects with profound meaning, integrating multidisciplinary teams, art curation, sensory experiences, and technology.

The director of CASACOR Paraná, Marina Nessi, commented on the event. "The market is looking forward to the innovations that CASACOR, the largest cultural platform for architecture, landscaping, art, and interiors in the Americas, will bring this year. As a reference in Paraná decoration, our mission is to bring new market perspectives to the local sector." The meeting also consolidated a new partnership with Construtora Laguna, the owner of the property that will host CASACOR Paraná 2025. In addition to providing the site, the company will have a project signed exclusively by Bernardes Arquitetura, recognized for awarded projects in Brazil and abroad. "We have high expectations, as we know the representativeness of CASACOR for our city. I believe it will be an excellent opportunity to present our differentiators regarding sustainability, well-being, and performance of our ventures," says André Marin, the company's incorporation director.

First Operational Meeting

In addition to valuable information for better utilization and results of the exhibition, attendees had the opportunity to check the balance of the last edition, which celebrated the 30 years of CASACOR Paraná and established itself as a success in terms of attendance, business, and impact. Scheduled for the period of June 1 to July 27, 2025, the 31st edition of CASACOR Paraná will again be installed in the Batel neighborhood, occupying one of the emblematic houses on Rua Carmelo Rangel. The exhibition selected exclusive architecture and decoration offices to compose the 33 projects, including residential, culinary operations, and spaces prepared for social and cultural events. CASACOR Paraná has master sponsorship from Deca and national support from Tintas Coral and Banco BRB, as well as local support from Balaroti, Laguna, Casa Prates, Celana, Montrelux, Reveev, NH Curitiba The Five, and Alcatraz.
