In 2024,
CASACOR Paraná will return to its origins and breathe new life into the family-friendly vocation of the show by hosting itself in a beautiful mansion from the 1980s. Starting on June 4, the
30th edition of the show will be held in the heart of Batel, in Curitiba, the place where it all began. The choice of a family home was a request from the professionals, but also an emotional choice that honors the history of the show. "
The stage for the 30th anniversary needed to be very special. Our society fondly remembers the first edition of the show, the iconic Casa Gomm, located in the space that today houses the Pátio Batel shopping mall. We returned to the noble neighborhood that concentrates the most sought-after properties in the capital and brings together the best entertainment, luxury and sophistication of our cosmopolitan Curitiba", comments the director of CASACOR Paraná,
Marina Nessi .
In addition to making use of the original structure – which sets the tone for “CASACOR with a homely feel” –, new features were added to the exhibition’s
masterplan , designed by architect Felipe Guerra. Starting with the
new constructions that were built on the site , such as the four “conceptual homes” units, which represent the trend for compact housing. The sector is also completed with the installation of
two commercial stores , a
bay window and a large tent to house the
bar . The area of the old garage of the original house is now home to a
bistro café to round off the gastronomic operation.
The cast that will design the
34 spaces of the show in 2024 includes
important names in Paraná architecture and decoration – both veterans who have participated since the first editions and new talents who continue to emerge at
