On Thursday, June 24th, at 5:45 pm,
CASACOR will present the waste management case from the São Paulo edition of the event at the
Zero Waste Cities International Congress . The program,
implemented at CASACOR São Paulo since 2016 , had several stages, such as raising awareness among work teams and architects to achieve the
99.3% mark of waste reuse ; and adopting measures such as dry construction, saving and reusing water resources, energy saving, selective collection, recycling program and appropriate disposal of waste, promoting the circular economy.
The case will be presented by the architect and urban planner,
Darlan Firmato , Sustainability Manager at CASACOR São Paulo, in the Thematic Room organized by Vila Recicla, with the theme "
Importance of Waste Management in Civil Construction for a Zero Waste City ". Experts from five continents will participate in the International Zero Waste Cities Congress, who will discuss solutions and show the places that have already adopted the concept and practice of collection committed to the separation of material and correct disposal of discarded material, with at least
