As in its beginnings,
CASACOR Bolivia 2022 has chosen a building in the historic center of
Santa Cruz de la Sierra to hold its 9th edition, which is scheduled to take place
from May 17 to June 25. The infrastructure is located at Moldes Street, No. 154, where the Asturias hotel operated for more than six decades.
The place stands out for its
easy access and
lush nature . The facilities of the old hotel, founded by the Spanish businessman Pedro Díaz González, accompanied the development of the city and was the choice of world-famous artists and personalities when they stayed there. When the hotel center stopped operating, it became an
iconic complex in Santa Cruz de la Sierra , where the memories of several generations persist over time. The property has a large capacity: in total,
4,400 square meters made up of a block with typical features of mid-century hotels, apartments, a swimming pool and gardens; all of which will be renovated by CASACOR Bolivia professionals in
35 areas .
This year, the exhibitions will take place under the concept of "
Infinito Particular ", a theme that refers to biographical houses that go beyond styles,
houses that tell stories . Luis Alberto “Quito” Velasco, director of the franchise in Bolivia, explained: “During the pandemic , we have proven to be capable of
transforming our home , each person has done so according to their needs. Now we are looking for
versatile environments , which adapt to any situation”. In turn, the executive of
CASACOR in Brazil, Lívia Pedreira, stated that the theme concerns
homes that contain the much-needed physical, mental and spiritual well-being ; “more sustainable, diverse, supportive and affectionate homes”.
In 2022, the largest architecture, design and landscaping exhibition in the Americas turns
35 , making it one of the oldest and most prestigious.
