House in Serra de Diego Raposo highlights textures and natural lighting

A neutral base was chosen to make the decor more cozy and enhance the works of art and plants that enter the social area.

Clean and elegant: the adjectives that sum up contemporary style guided interior designer Diego Raposo in creating this glass house full of personality and warmth. The residence is located in Petrópolis, Rio de Janeiro, and was designed for a single woman who lives alone . The layout of the property was preserved; therefore, the choice of decorative elements and furniture prioritized the creation of an artistic atmosphere in the residence . The resident, who owns a fabric factory specializing in silk, asked for special attention to be paid to the fabrics , which would be chosen according to their level of comfort and elegance.

The social area features a neutral color palette and comfortable furniture. The highlight is the Mole armchair by Sérgio Rodrigues , which adds a special charm to the space. Glass windows are everywhere, offering a beautiful view of the greenery. from the Cantareira Mountains. The designer opted for flowing linen curtains to cover the large windows and enhance the double-height ceiling . The composition was made even more elegant by the presence of a fireplace in front of the sofa.

The L-shaped kitchen is charming with its American style. The grayish blue cabinets give way to large, sophisticated and practical white countertops. On the wall next to it, cookbooks are displayed on shelves , revealing a love of gastronomy. Projeto Na Serra de Diego Raposo In the bathroom, the small space was used to create the artistic atmosphere that the resident wanted. Thus, the designer invested in a pink wallpaper with leaf prints , which evokes the tropics and immediately injects a good dose of personality into the space. The pink headboard and gray wallpaper are reminiscent of linen, bringing lightness and casualness to the space.

Outside, the designer created a space that is pure relaxation. Relaxing, the greenery invades the balcony and creates an area where the resident can receive and enjoy nature . Highlight the balloon-shaped lamps, which add a stylish touch. to the decoration.
