The public, in addition to seeing the best of architecture and design at the exhibition, will have an extensive schedule of events involving debates, gastronomy, fun and music!

For the second year, CASA COR Minas Gerais is bringing CASA COR & Conversa , an initiative supported by four pillars: inspiration, content, entertainment and networking. This parallel program takes place within the show and aims to foster these pillars through round tables, gastronomic experiences, musical and theatrical performances, activities for children, wine tasting and many other activities. Check out what has already been confirmed below!
Gustavo Greco, Teodmiro Diniz and Daniel Simão will talk in a round table about the reactivation of buildings in the city center and how design and art can contribute to creating a new look for the city.
Bruno Campos, Marcelo Fontes and Silvio Todeschi will tell a little about the history of prefabricated houses and share the construction process of Casa Lâminus, which you will be able to see up close throughout the exhibition.
Kornelija Sirmulyte, Joana do Vale Dourado and Joana Magalhães will talk about the ways of living (and working) in Denmark, Portugal, France and Brazil.
What is it like to work with authorial design in Brazil? What is the market like? What are the ways of working in this market? And what about production? What are the challenges? Alessandro Alvarenga and Luiz Costa will share their experiences.
CASA COR Minas 2016 will host a gastronomic intervention project led by Gabriel Trillo, Gabi Braga and Sérgio Figueiredo. Inusitada is an initiative that unites the passions of each of its members and recreates itself with each project. The main focus is gastronomy and scenography, which together are capable of promoting experiences that stir the senses – taste, smell, sight and even touch. The interventions will take place in the kitchen designed by architect Cristina Menezes.
Music, theater, games. During the exhibition, every Sunday will be Children's Day, with a program made especially for them. Always at 3 pm.
Jazz, chorinho, Brazilian music. A refined selection of musicians will make the atmosphere of the show even more special.
The 2016 CASA COR Minas Gerais will take place from August 30th to October 4th at Alameda das Latânias, 30 – São Luiz – Pampulha – Belo Horizonte.
