The neo-Gothic chapel located inside the century-old Pia Chaves Barcellos building, headquarters of the 30th edition of CASACOR Rio Grande do Sul (Rua Dona Leonor, 360), was the scene of a marriage proposal between architects who are part of the event's cast. The hectic pace of the final stretch of the exhibition's works, which opens to the public on August 6th in Porto Alegre, was one of the reasons that led architect Saymon Dall Alba to think about the surprise for his girlfriend Bárbara Fernandes , who is also architect of the CASACOR RS team. In the past, the space was used for ceremonies by the Chaves Barcellos family , who built the building in 1923. During the exhibition, visitors will be able to see its interior while visiting the spaces on display. CASACOR RS completes 30 editions this year . The event takes place from August 6th to October 2nd at the Pia Chaves Barcellos building. The plan for the future of the building is to house the Pampeano School , and the project will have as its starting point the work of and restoration and revitalization led by Studio1 Arquitetura.
