Music, culture and lots of art marked the launch of the 1st edition of
CASACOR Piauí . On the 14th, the show brought together the press, local authorities, cast members and guests for the
Avant Première – an event that celebrated the official opening of the show. Those present were able to see up close all the details of the
34 spaces of the show, created by
52 architecture, interior design, and landscaping professionals around the theme "
As a gift, the now ". More than 800 people attended the ceremony.
The directors of
CASACOR PI , Neuma Figueirêdo, Frederico de Carvalho Mendes and Cristina Napoleão, and André Secchin, national CEO of
CASACOR , were also present. Also present were the franchisees of CASACOR PI and CE: Victor Guimarães, Pedro Esdras and Carolina Figueirêdo. In addition, the event was attended by Raul Guaragna, vice president of the DEXCO Group; Gilmar Menegon, commercial director of the DEXCO Group. The ceremony was attended by local authorities: Delano Rocha, Technical Director of Sebrae, and Ícaro Machado, from Sudarpi. The ceremony was conducted by journalist Maia Veloso. During the cocktail party,
two personalities who contribute to the development of the state were honored: Girleide Maria de Oliveira, for her contributions to Cerâmica Serra da Capivara; and Joaquim Costa Filho, businessman and owner of the mansion where the event takes place in Teresina.
Check out the gallery to see who was there: Secchin highlighted that the state of Piauí has been mapped out for the implementation of the exhibition for the past five years. “We have always observed the presence of a good group of professionals, the growth of shopkeepers and the activities of suppliers,” he explains. “We are planting our flag in Piauí and we have a thermometer that shows that everything has worked. The city of Teresina started
CASACOR with the
highest number of ticket sales in recent years. Of course, we intend to do it every year.”
Cocktail marks the event's success
For
Cristina Napoleão , Executive Director, Projects and Curatorship of CASACOR Piauí, this is a very grand and challenging event due to its size. “Bringing it to Piauí demands a lot of responsibility and we have a lot of people involved. Without a doubt, it is very gratifying to be part of this grand event.” She adds: “
It is an opportunity to show our culture, our art and our professionals to Brazil . We have a wonderful cast, who are very talented and committed.”
Frederico Carvalho , General Director of CASACOR PI, reiterates that it is a joy to reach this moment of inauguration. “The CASACOR Piauí exhibition is extremely important for our state, as
it contributes significantly to several segments , such as civil construction, architecture, crafts, sustainability, small and large companies, among others”, he says.
The exhibition has had a positive impact on the state since its inception. According to
Neuma Figueirêdo , Director of CASACOR PI and CASACOR CE, the event is a
catalyst for professional and cultural growth . “It is a great stimulator of the state’s economy. It certainly generates jobs directly and indirectly. If we measure all of our activity, we generate more than 1,200 jobs. I would also like to point out that we generated more than any other business or industry in these three months of construction, almost a year of planning and, without a doubt, during the almost 50 days of our event,” she shares.

CASACOR PI is open to the public until June 30, from 5 pm to 10 pm. The mansion where the event is held is located at Avenida Zequinha Freire, 225, Santa Isabel neighborhood. The exhibition highlights the cultural, social and regional aspects of Piauí. The public has the opportunity to see
