Living near the beach guarantees several health benefits and brings a better quality of life. In this home on the shores of Praia Brava , in Itajaí, architect Bianca Rieg , who will debut in the CASACOR Santa Catarina cast in 2023, wanted to bring the calm of the sea to the home of a young adventurer who loves to travel and is passionate about the ocean.

The resident, who lives with her three dogs, asked the professional to use items she acquired on her travels around the world as part of the home's decor. Vinyl records, works of art and books are the stars of the collection. "In addition to organizing the entire collection of items, she asked for the suites to have a 'different look', and for the kitchen, service area and bathroom to have a more modern and functional configuration", said Bianca.

Books have been given a special place in the living room , where a large bookcase with niches of varying sizes accommodates and keeps the most special belongings within easy reach. A space was also created to accommodate the resident's record collection , so that they are always visible and can be admired. "The living room features designer furniture with a beach feel. In the bathroom and kitchen, we used handcrafted coverings and natural stones to create a light and cozy feel," explains the architect.
Products made in sand tones , natural fibers in the rugs, stools, wooden vinyl floors, carpentry in light wood tones accompanied by friezes bring the beachy vibe into the home.

Upon entering the social hall, the spacious living room reveals the dining area, TV room, tea corner and vinyl records, supported by the inviting presence of a comfortable and modern chaise lounge chair in natural straw and light fabrics, designed by Rapha Preto.

The kitchen is integrated with the social areas and follows the same language and style proposed by the office – like a fresh breeze reflected in the light tones and stone cladding on the island and countertop. "In the kitchen, we opted for light wood tones for the melamine finishes in the carpentry," he comments.

In the master suite, the highlight is the natural straw headboard , designed by the office, combined with the handmade bricks seen. In the bathroom, the sand tone predominates and is warmed by the presence of light woods, creating a perfect setting for relaxing in the hot tub .
