The architects Eloy and Felipe Fichberg, from the office Fichberg Architecture and Interiors, were selected in the XVI edition of the International TILE Brazil Award, which recognizes projects of excellence in Architecture, Design, and Ceramics. The professionals were awarded in the Scenery Category, with the Silver prize for the project of the Déjà Vu project, presented at CASACOR São Paulo 2025.
Fichberg Architecture and Interiors - Déjà Vu. Partners Eloy and Felipe Fichberg combine memories of the art nouveau style with the exuberance of Brazilian fauna, flora, and culture in a contemplative retreat of 49 m². In the bathroom area, the stained glass windows depicting indigenous peoples and the Atlantic Forest catch the eye. The mosaic floor, made with reused porcelain, displays figures of tropical fruits such as cocoa, açaí, pineapple, jabuticaba, and cashew. In the living room, the professionals create a bridge between past and present by mixing classic furniture with examples of contemporary design. A reflection on female representativity arises through the work of artist Silvana Mendes.
