CASACORRio de Janeiro debuted in grand style: on the eve of its inauguration, on the evening of Monday, August 19, an event brought together guests and professionals to relive the splendor of Praça Mauá. The exhibition is housed in the vicinity of the Touring Building . With artistic direction by carnival designer, choreographer and dancer Marcelo Misailidis, the event featured a series of performances inspired by the 1930s, when Rádio Nacional was located in the neighboring building.
The NGO's work can be seen up close in one of CASACOR Rio 's spaces: Casa do Bem . The space, designed by architect Jorge Delmas , follows the Arquitetando o Bem project, through which houses are renovated and built for families in the children served by the NGO. Check out who was there:
