"We searched museums around the world and found the most incredible drawings of extinct animals, documented by explorers on their travels. We managed to capture their essence and present it in Milan," explained Marcel Wanders, creative designer at Moooi, about the new collection from the brand that, in a paradoxical poetry, laments the loss of extinct animals, but praises the beauty of these ancient species.

This inspiration resulted in the Extinct
Animal Museum , where the brand presents prints of species that no longer exist and have left their mark on the world's fauna. "For Moooi, the Extinct Animal Museum has become an inspiration. We want to share our excitement, admiration and love, and try to humbly bring these species back to life and celebrate them," says Wanders.
