More than just a place for meals, the restaurant of CARDE | Art Design Museum, in Campos do Jordão (SP), emerges as a natural extension of the curatorial thought that guides the projects: to celebrate Brazilian design, art, and culture through complete experiences. Designed by architect Pedro Coimbra - from the lineup of CASACOR São Paulo -, the projects were conceived to welcome, provoke, and engage, creating an atmosphere where architecture and gastronomy communicate in a fluid and sensitive manner.

The open concept values the integration between light, material, and circulation. Large glass panels allow generous natural light to enter, reinforcing the sense of lightness and bringing the interior closer to the surrounding landscape. The choice of materials reveals an affective and contemporary narrative, with textures that evoke memory, identity, and sophistication.

The wood appears as the protagonist, whether in the slatted panel that gives rhythm and depth to the projects, or in the buffet with precise lines that combines functionality and elegance. The marble floor provides solidity and timelessness, while the tables, also made of marble, supported on black iron legs, establish a balanced contrast between nobility and industriality.

The furniture reinforces the welcoming character of the project. Stools and wicker chairs refer to Brazilian artisanal knowledge, bringing visual and tactile comfort. The German corner, in an orange tone, introduces chromatic warmth and invites people to stay, functioning as a meeting point that encourages socializing and sharing.

Small works of art are distributed throughout the establishment, creating discoveries along the way. Highlight for the panel signed by Arthur Grangeia, which presents a landscape accompanied by a poem by Manuel Bandeira, a poet who lived in Campos do Jordão. The work establishes a poetic link between territory, memory, and creation, enhancing the sensory experience of the visitor.

Metallic elements, such as iron rails with plants, introduce a contemporary and urban layer, while the vegetation softens the projects and reinforces the feeling of well-being.
