With each edition,
CASACOR Rio Grande do Sul reaffirms its role as a platform for experiences that transcend aesthetics. In 2025, the occupation of the old Terminal 2 of Salgado Filho Airport presents not only authorial projects of architecture and interiors but also
two gastronomic operations that invite a complete sensory experience: Venzone Cucina and Café Chocólatras. Pollyana Pizzutti e FS Engenharia - Venzone Cocina. Projeto da CASACOR Rio Grande do Sul 2025. (Cristiano Bauce/CASACOR)
With free access and
independent entry from the exhibition, the spaces are open to the public — it is not necessary to purchase tickets to experience the gastronomy of CASACOR RS. These are projects where design also manifests itself in taste, time, and atmosphere.
Venzone Cucina
With 250 m² and a project by
Pollyana Pizutti, the restaurant evokes the atmosphere of old
Italian trattorias with touches of New York culture. The dark wood, the curved design of the woodwork, and the low light create an environment that invites one to linger.

The operation is by Grupo Venzon in partnership with Drinkando, with a menu crafted by Leonardo Koppe, Fábio Gonçalves, and restaurateur André Osório. The dishes range from classic Italian to authorial interpretations: the long-fermented Focaccia is served with olive oil and balsamic; the Marinated Olives arrive at the table with thyme, garlic, and lemon. Among the main dishes, highlights include Misto di Frutti di Mare, which combines octopus, mussels, and shrimp sautéed with capers and garlic, finished in white wine with potatoes. The menu balances starters and main courses — ideal for a light lunch during the visit or a more elaborate dinner as night falls. For dessert, the classic Cannoli Siciliani gets a version with cocoa dough, ricotta and mascarpone filling with lemon zest, finished with pistachio.

The experience is completed with the sculpture "Il Silenzio" by Camila R. Camargo and the mural by Jotapê Pax, which expands the concept of the restaurant as a narrative and sensory
project. Café na Casa
Signed by
Bethina Moreira and Patricia Strelow, the café is a
warm and affective respite amidst the exhibition. With 300 m², the project bets on organic shapes, earthy tones, and natural textures inspired by cocoa and the earth's cycles. The menu features
handmade sandwiches assembled on the spot, special coffees, and a selection of pies and desserts from the Chocólatras bakery, perfect for the cold days of the south.

Among the works in the space are the watercolor mural by
Jéssica Zambonato (Murais Gaia) and the installation by
Studio Mori with art plates in ceramics, reinforcing the proposal of a space where time slows down — and flavor invites contemplation. Good food, meetings, and atmosphere compose the backdrop of an experience that unfolds gradually — and is worth discovering.
