Upon entering
Zara Home Iguatemi , visitors are welcomed into a new, minimalist space that highlights the exclusive collection of the great Belgian designer
Vincent Van Duysen. With absolute prominence given to the creative's furniture, tableware and accessories, the space also
displays the brand's latest releases, such as special stationery collections, a selection of books and even board games.
At 60,
Van Duysen felt the time was right to embark on a collaboration with the brand and delved into his archives to
recover some of its most characteristic creations and shapes to apply
all its aesthetics and creative DNA to new pieces. There are two lines: Collection 01, aimed at the living room, and Collection 02, a selection of products for the table and dining room. Both embrace Zara Home's philosophy of always seeking aesthetic quality combined with a more democratic and accessible approach.
Collection 01 is made with selected wood pieces, sophisticated textures, materials and finishes with tactile appeal applied in timeless forms. The rational aesthetic gives way to simplicity and comfort.
Collection 02 pays homage to coexistence and the joy of living and was designed to encourage a more balanced and slow pace of life. The rugs come in monochromatic finishes, such as white, or herringbone effect in a darker tone. In addition to the entire line of furniture such as tables, chairs, armchairs, sofas, sideboards and stools, there is also a line of accessories: candles, towels, plates, cutlery, glasses and vases. All products are designed to withstand the test of time and adapt to the evolution of decoration in the coming years. They seek durability, versatility and complement the spaces of the house, rather than defining its style.
It is worth mentioning that only four stores in the world received the
By Van Duysen collection and Brazil is among them, in capitals such as São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba, Brasília and Porto Alegre.
Flagship and opening of the online store in Brazil
The new project, with over 600m², was designed to have the
layout of a house , organized into different areas but all of them with an impeccable visual unity. Organic materials, such as oak wood and stone, are the protagonists of the displays, in contrast with lime-based finishes and natural limestone flooring.
In addition to incorporating the latest sustainability and
eco-efficiency technologies established for Inditex Group stores, the Brazilian
flagship is connected to
Inergy , the platform that allows mapping and regulating energy consumption, which comes entirely from renewable sources.
The online store was designed to offer a
practical experience , where customers can interact with the brand intuitively thanks to its various sections and product categories. The website is adapted for purchases from any mobile device and browser in Portuguese and English. Users can choose to have their purchases delivered to their home or pick them up at physical stores. The new platform works in an integrated manner with the brand's eight stores in the country, allowing products to be available in capitals such as São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba, Brasília and Porto Alegre.
Brazilian Modernist
The brand presents its latest editorial in an iconic setting:
Casa Canoas , designed by renowned Brazilian architect
Oscar Niemeyer . This union between Zara Home and Fundação Oscar Niemeyer celebrates the fusion of timeless elegance and modernist architecture in a location that pays homage to Niemeyer’s avant-garde vision. Casa Canoas, one of Niemeyer’s most famous works, is a stunning example of Brazilian architecture that combines curved lines and asymmetrical volumes to create a harmonious space.
