The 2024 edition of
NYCxDesign is here! Renowned as one of the world’s most notable international design events, the festival will host around 200 events from May 16 to 23, showcasing works across a range of creative disciplines, including landscape architecture, graphic and product design, art, architecture and technology.

The event takes place annually in May, with the aim of bringing together designers, architects, artists, creators and students, who showcase their latest inventions within the universe of art, architecture and design.

British designer Lee Broom presents lamps in welded brass combined with glass, acrylic and leather. The "
Alchemist " collection explores
the magic of transformation and the power of myth . The sculpture
King , featured in the collection, was conceived around the character of the King of Salem in the book 'The Alchemist' by Paulo Coelho and the legend of King Arthur, hence his crowned appearance. The exhibition will be on view until May 23, by appointment, at the designer's penthouse
showroom in TriBeCa.
Mercer Street Block Party
On Mercer Street, located between Broome and Canal streets, galleries and design
showrooms will open their doors with exhibitions and installations, as well as serving drinks to passers-by throughout the evening. The group includes Orior Furniture, Bocci, Roll + Hill, Calico Wallpaper, Stellar Works, Kasthall and Hem.

Design Dysphoria
In Design Dysphoria, 17 designers explore the concept of queer creative spaces and their impact on art and design. The collection includes furniture, lighting, textiles, and decorative objects. Until May 25 at 53 Scott Avenue, Suite 401, Brooklyn. Co-curated by designers Erica Sellers and Jeremy Silberberg and artists Liz Collins and Grace Whiteside, the exhibition highlights the importance of art in promoting projects developed by the LGBTQIA+ community. data-instgrm-version="14"> View this post on Instagram
International Contemporary Furniture Fair
The International Contemporary Furniture Fair returns for its 35th edition with new products presented by 450 brands from more than 35 different countries. Through May 21 at the Javits Center, 429 11th Avenue.

Picnic in the Park
To celebrate the release of its 1973 “Hot Dog Picnic” poster, legacy design firm Herman Miller will be serving snacks from a hot dog cart at its Park Avenue South location daily through May 23 from noon to 2 p.m. at 251 Park Avenue South.
