The
Superlimão office is known for its
stripped-down ,
contemporary designs – and in the case of the new collection of hydraulic tiles for
Dalle Piagge , the studio did no different. It presented a reinterpretation of the classic patterns designed by the French monk and polymath Sébastien Truchet, in the 17th century. The tiles feature a pattern with
radial symmetry , and Superlimão has rescued this heritage for the new collection, named "
Traço e Ponto ".
These freely combinable patterns allow for a
wide range of layouts that mark points, paths or draw shapes that inspire connection in any environment.
Inspired by nature, a combination related to Brazilian trees was created, which generate more sober and elegant applications, and two combinations related to fruits, which generate more lively and uninhibited applications.
