The 19th century is the starting point for the new Bertha collection which, while drawing inspiration from the first refrigerators of that time, known as ' iceboxes ', bears in its name a tribute to two women born in the same period, who stood out in their individual struggles and who generated a lot of repercussion: Austro-Hungarian Bertha Von Suttner (1843-1914) and Brazilian Bertha Lutz (1894-1976).

Sergio Batista , who designed the collection, says that “the initial idea of a multifunctional piece of furniture stood out as an essential differentiator , as it allowed for customization for different environments, meeting the specific needs of each one. Furthermore, the incorporation of hardware into the piece added an authentic uniqueness to its segment.”
